Check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 noon.
Overnight parking at Fairmont Waterfront is valid from 3:00 PM on arrival day until 6:00 PM the following day.
Self-parking is available for $65 per night, with license plate registration required at the Front Desk.
Valet parking is available for $85 per night.
Hourly parking options:
- 1 hour – $20
- 2 hours – $30
- Daytime parking (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) – $50
*Over-height vehicles can be accommodated for $140 per night.
For guests embarking on an Alaska cruise, weekly parking rates are available upon request.
All parking rates include in-and-out privileges and applicable taxes.

They are happy to help with dinner reservations and recommendations, city tours, theatre and special events, directions, and anything to do with planning your stay in Vancouver! Full laundry service is available seven days a week. In order to guarantee same-day delivery, laundry must be ready 9:00am. Laundry pick-up by the Housekeeping staff starts at 7:00am. Delivery will be done at 6:00pm. Laundry bags are found in the guestroom’s closet.
There is a $35 per night (inclusive of taxes) pet fee in place.
We’re delighted to have you and your canine companion staying with us! Cats and dogs (maximum 2) may vacation with you for a $35 per night pet cleaning fee. Dog beds, water bowls and treats for our furry guests are available upon request. Seeing-eye dogs are always welcome.
Please indicate that you are travelling with a pet in the Special Requests field when completing your reservation online.
Please do not leave pets unattended in your guest room; this may result in additional charges should there be noise complaints. Pet-sitting and pet daycare services can be coordinated through our concierge team.
Please note: Dogs (with the exception of guide dogs and service dogs) are prohibited from the 3rd floor, pool deck and restaurant. We grow a variety of fruit, herbs and vegetables on our rooftop terrace; to protect our four-legged friends from potential food toxicity (many common herbs and vegetables are toxic to pets) and to preserve the integrity of our food-safe plots; pets of any kind are not permitted in our third floor garden. As a result, guests with pets are not able to stay in our Fairmont Terrace rooms which open directly into the garden. Any guest who has booked a Fairmont Terrace room will be reassigned to a more appropriate and comparable room.

The bell desk is located in the main lobby of the hotel. Our bellmen are happy to assist with luggage storage, directions, recommendations, porterage to Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal and assistance to guestrooms. The bell desk can also provide umbrellas, bottled water and running towels.
All guest rooms come equipped with an automated stocked refreshment centre. Any items removed from the refreshment centre will be automatically charged to your room account.
Mini-fridges for storage of personal items are available upon request for a fee of $25 plus taxes per night.
Fairmont Waterfront offers luggage assistance to the Canada Place cruise ship terminal for hotel guests departing on a Vancouver cruise without pre-arranged luggage service.
To request cruise terminal luggage service, guests are asked to dial “0” before 11:30 a.m. on departure day and request luggage assistance to the Canada Place cruise terminal.
A hotel representative will visit the guestroom to:
- Verify and tag baggage
- Provide instructions for cruise terminal delivery
- Guests must be present in their room during collection and should have their passport and cruise tags prepared at the time of pickup.
The service is provided on a complimentary basis; gratuities for our Bell Team are appreciated.
