Set against the stunning backdrop of Vanier Park, Bard on the Beach is one of Canada’s largest professional Shakespeare festivals. This not-for-profit event brings timeless stories to life in a waterfront setting, offering a mix of Shakespeare’s greatest works, contemporary plays, and special events throughout the summer season.

More than just theatre, Bard on the Beach is a cultural experience that celebrates language, performance, and the beauty of Vancouver’s natural landscape. From classic comedies to powerful dramas, there’s something for everyone under the signature red and white tents.
